

Smoked Coffee?
I regularly get questioned about how we came up with this crazy idea. After retiring from government service, I decided to spend my time on things I’m passionate about: family, barbecue, and of course, coffee. One day, after loading up the smoker with ribs, I came inside to brew a pot of coffee. My wife looked at me and said, “Why not just smoke your coffee too? You smoke everything else!”
Challenge accepted! With that, I set out to create something that combines my love for barbecue with the perfect cup of coffee. After months of experimenting with tens of pounds of beans, I finally perfected a way to add just the right touch of smoke to the end of the roast to a perfectly complimentary single-origin coffee bean creating a truly special coffee.
The smoke seems to fill in all the gaps in the coffee flavors, creating a smooth, easy to drink cup with a touch of sweetness. This coffee is never bitter and always a pleasure to drink.
